The US President’s fundraising team sent out emails claiming Trump needed donations because he ‘wanted to try and get to Heaven. Good luck with that Trump.

The emails which have been sent out to Trump supporters during a ‘fundraising blitz’ included the subject line ‘I want to try and get to Heaven’.

“Last year, I came millimeters from death when that bullet pierced through my skin. My triumphant return to the White House was never supposed to happen!” the email stated, referencing his July 2024 assassination attempt, before going on to read : “But I believe that God saved me for one reason: TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’.

The emails also come amid rumors concerning Trump’s health, as the president has been spotted with dark patches on his hands, leading people to speculate about his health.

Trump has found supporters in the Christian Right for most of his political career, and has even sold a special ‘Trump Bible’ retailing at $59 dollars.

Trump has spoken a fair bit recently about the ‘afterlife’ and how he is concerned about whether his actions would secure him a place in heaven, but asking for donations to ‘get to heaven’ seems like a new low for his fundraising team.
