We need bath bombs, not real bombs.

UK cosmetics chain Lush, known for their bath bombs and soaps, closed its doors on Wednesday in protest of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The company said they were “closed in solidarity”, with signs in the windows of their stores saying “Stop starving Gaza”.

Lush specifically said the move was done to try and force the UK government to halt arms sales to Israel.

This move comes amidst a (slowly) turning tide on public opinion regarding Gaza, as Israel intensifies its atrocities, continues its starvation of Palestinians, and begins moves to expand into the West Bank.

We must encourage other companies to end their complicity, and ultimately, we need a general strike to pressure Western governments to end their roles in facilitating genocide.
