Just this week alone we have seen Laura Anne Jones – former Tory politician who used a racist slur about Chinese people defecting to Reform UK. Jones, who is a member of the Welsh Senedd, also called for ‘chav shootings’. This proves once again that Reform UK are no friends of the working class. Reform wants to make the lives of everyday working class people significantly harder, because they profit from it. 

Whilst children go to school hungry, and people struggle to get on the property ladder – or heat their homes – Farage is making millions.

Additionally, it has been revealed that the 19-year old Warwickshire Reform council leader spent £150,000 of tax-payer money in lobbying to remove a pride flag from the council building.

Sarah Pochin, a Reform MP stated earlier this week that ‘if they (the public) lose some human rights, well that’s a good thing’. 

We have seen throughout history how time and time again, populist, fascist, political leaders spread lies and misinformation about marginalized groups in order to benefit their own political gain. Reform fuels hatred towards migrants, the LGBTQ+ community and refugees by scapegoating them for the day to day problems ordinary people face. 

Problems which are caused by the bourgeois elite. Reform love to claim that they are anti-establishment… They are the establishment.

Just like how Hitler claimed that the Jewish community were ‘untermensch’ (sub-human), Farage claims that he believed Muslims wanted to form “a fifth column and kill us,” but he also sang Hitler Youth songs whilst at his South London Private Schools – so there’s that. 

Now is the time to stand up for the working class and all marginalised communities, as our struggles are one and the same – the system we live in. 

If you are working class, reform is not your friend – Farage is not your drinking buddy – they couldn’t care less if your material conditions leave you dead.

We must tackle Reform before it is too late. Fight back from the iron fist of facism.
